HOLLOWELL POCKET PARK ACTION COMMITTEE (HPPAC)

HPPAC was formed in August 2013 by several residents from within the Parish, with the aim of raising funds to purchase new play equipment for the Pocket Park.

By the end of 2014, three new pieces of equipment had been installed, including a bespoke steam engine to reflect Hollowell's links with the annual Steam Rally. The new equipment was officially opened by Catherine Lomax, Chairman of Daventry District Council on 14th December 2014.

Fundraising continued and in 2018-19 an aerial runway, log balance trail and two spinning play pieces were added, much to the delight of the older children in the village.    HPPAC continues to work with the parish council to monitor and maintain the equipment.  Details of the committee's activities can be found on the Hollowell and Teeton Facebook page and in the parish magazine the Village Link.
